As Berno I also go into infant and primary schools taking part in assemblies and lessons telling stories in a fun and creative way.Also I organise holiday clubs or visit them running workshops putting on a show or telling stories. My stories come from many souces,Bible stories are a favourite but I also tell other traditional stories as well as my own. Berno's Bible Stories are suitable as part of the national curriculum on religous education. I also visit churches and take part in All Age Services and Holiday Clubs. I have been telling stories for many years. This has been as a clown but also in my role as a Sunday School Teacher and Children's Club Leader. I will tell stories in a fun thoughtful style . I works in a sensitive manner that is non threatening and respectful of other peoples culture and religon.

BACKGROUND ON BERNIE WIGHTON
I have been clowning around for a long time! Ever since I was a small boy I spent my time entertaining my four sisters and two brothers! I have many years experience working with children through my church and community work. Also professionaly I have worked with children and adults with Learning Difficulties or Special Needs for over 27 years. At present I am also working  at Richard House Children's Hospice in Beckton East London  as a Children's Carer/Play Worker.  I have taught drama, film and video in Day Centres when not clowning. I have a City and Guilds in Drama and Performance, also winning some competitions for my script writing and ventriloquism skills. In 2003 became a Millennium Award Winner through the Peabody Trust. I write and sing and perform my own material. I love playing with other musicians mainly playing the drum kit and percussion. I am a Equity member and belong to Holy Fools I can be found in the International Clowns Directory. I - Berno am a professional clown giving a quality service. My small  business comes under the title"Floating Clouds."
